                    The paper analyses educational poverty among children, focusing on the importance of reading as tool to prevent and contrast this phenomenon. It is also described “Spazio Gioco Unifg”, a University of Foggia service based on the promotion of reading that supports families and the territory in contrasting educational poverty.
