This article analyzes the trajectory of the marble and statuary company created by the brothers Ugo and Darío Luisi, originally from Pietrasanta, Italy in 1898, and its subsequent growth through the establishment of branches. First in El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaragua and since 1911 in Cuba, Mexico, Costa Rica, the United States, Peru, and Colombia. This analysis shows the works of public sculpture and funeral home made in those countries for more than four decades. This study reveals the ability to enter new markets to find both a public and private clientele interested in works made of marble, granite, and other stones. A decorative statuary, relevant in patriotic or symbolic terms and often of great beauty.
