The end of the First World War did not improve the Afro– American community’s living conditions. The black community of Pittsburgh (PA) sought to break free from the social and cultural isolation triggered by what today we define epistemic injustice, by means of «The Pittsburgh Courier» weekly magazine. «The Pittsburgh Courier» allowed the Pittsburgh’s black community to become well known all over the United States, giving rise to another great Black Renaissance.
