The essay examines the implications of the recent reform of the Title IV of the Italian Constitution regulating the judiciary power It argues that the bill overlooks the consequences for the relationships between the judiciary and the other State powers To substantiate this thesis the essay highlights issues from establishing two High Councils of the Judiciary both chaired by the Head of State and introducing random selection for electing judicial representatives.
