Il contributo esamina la lingua degli Apologhi verseggiati reatini, testo trecentesco in versi caratterizzato da numerosi tratti fonomorfologici di tipo mediano, soffermandosi specialmente sul settore lessicale, anche alla luce dei dati offerti dal Corpus testuale informatizzato dell’Italia mediana. In particolare, vengono esaminate cinque forme che presentano problemi interpretativi (alnivente, esciagumare, ractigiare, scallatrice, desducente) e si formulano altrettante ipotesi ricostruttive ed etimologiche.

This paper examines the language of the Apologhi verseggiati reatini, a fourteenth-century text in verse characterized by numerous phonomorphological features of the Middle Italian type, focusing especially on the lexical sector, also in light of the data provided by the Web-based Textual Corpus of Central-Italian Dialects. In particular, five forms that present interpretative challenges (alnivente, esciagumare, ractigiare, scallatrice, desducente) are examined, and five reconstructive and etymological hypotheses are formulated.
