This contribution presents an annotation framework designed for analyzing oral interactions in intercomprehension (IC) in specialized contexts. The study involves 20 Veterinary Science students from Italy and Argentina, along with a diverse group of expert tutors. The dataset includes approximately 25 hours of video-recorded lessons and peer interactions. The methodological framework integrates various complementary theoretical models, including the meaning negotiation model, interproduction, and conceptual mediation strategies as described in the Référentiel de compétences de communication plurilingue en intercompréhension and the Companion Volume to the Common European Framework, as well as concepts of conversational dominance and communicative accommodation. This analytical approach aims to: identify strategies used by participants to anticipate or resolve misunderstandings; pinpoint linguistic elements that trigger misunderstandings; and delineate cooperative or competitive attitudes observed during peer interactions.
