The use of proverbs or sayings leads to the detection of linguistic anomalies that are common in both native and foreign speakers. In everyday communication, some of the restrictions inherent to proverbs are often violated, whether linguistic (such as morphological, syntactical, lexical, or semantic fixation) or related to their use. Furthermore, conscious manipulation of language is observed, that is, the use of modifications or variants for persuasive purposes by the speaker.
