The library, understood as an educational and relational place, offers a privileged space for the encounter with reading. In this context, bibliotherapy is configured as an innovative educational and therapeutic practice that uses reading as a psycho-emotional support tool for children and young people. The paper explores the value of bibliotherapy as a tool for integrated care, highlighting the potential of the “fairy tale as medicine” in promoting inclusion and well-being.
