Democracy was born with the dream of equality and protection of the rights of all and on the basis of equality between rulers and ruled. Over time, however, forms of negation of this paradigm have arisen: tyranny, dictatorship, despotism, absolutism, authoritarianism, totalitarianism. Even more recently, totalitarian democracy is constructed as a negation of the democratic system while using the typical tools of the democratic system. In such a scenario the sense of law as a value system is lost.
