The paper, after having framed from a dogmatic point of view some res typical of the digital world, reconstructs the position of jurisprudence, both international and domestic, relating to the debated issue of access to the account by the heirs of the holder and proposes a solution that differs from the one endorsed by the rulings examined and which, due to the typical characteristics of our legal system, seems to be the preferable one, as it provides the successors of the holders of a so-called account with greater protection against the giants of the network.
